Best Vesuvius tour

Any recommendations please? We need a bus pickup from centre of Naples, and entry to the crater. Guided tour optional! We are not looking to do pompeii or Herculaneum on the same day.

We got the train to Heraculeum then picked up a bus tour from there - didn’t get a guided tour up volcano - or see anyone else on one - but if you’re really into your geography I’m sure you could.. took half a day & went to heraculeum in the afternoon. The link above was where we booked ours. Train from Naples v easy.
