St Just in Penwith - places to stay

Hello,

I am looking at booking a mini-break in St Just in Penwith (as it is a dark skies area and good for viewing the stars at night).

I am struggling to find somewhere decent to stay. Usually we would find an Airbnb but after our last stay in Weymouth we don’t want to use them again! (Our complaint was not supported by Airbnb because the host denied our genuine issues despite photos, but that’s another matter!)

Trying to use other sites I have found it difficult to search through accommodation. Lots of places allow pets, which due to allergies we would rather avoid. Another site - cottages.com I think - wouldn’t let me choose dates for the stay. Some places don’t seem to let you specify how many people or rooms it’s for.

Basically I am looking for somewhere we could have two adults and two children (6 and 8), preferably with a kitchen but would consider a family room in a hotel (we usually get somewhere with a kitchen and keep costs lower by cooking for ourselves but this isn’t a must).

Any recommendations from people that have stayed in the area?

Thanks for any advice!

Try Classic Cottages. Excellent company. When you do get down there, drop the "in Penwith" as that only gets used to avoid confusion with St Just in Roseland.

I can’t recommend a specific place in st just but I’ve used this company for Cornwall breaks previously and looks like they have some properties in / near st just

They are both better sites than the ones I had been trying to use haha. Thank you both!
