I have found these cards to be the best so far for accumulating Avios:

BUSINESS - FREE
CapitalOnTap Visa - 1 point per £1 spend, covertible to Avios
£75 sign-up reward
http://CASHBACK.CAPITALONTAP.COM/

PERSONAL - £300 annual fee
British Airways American Express® Premium Plus Card - 1.5 x Avios per £1 spend
FREE Companion Voucher
http://www.americanexpress.com/en-gb/credit-cards

PERSONAL - FREE
Barclaycard Avios Mastercard - 1 x Avios per £1 spend
FREE British Airways cabin upgrade voucher

Does anyone have any better suggestions for credit cards to accumulate Avios points & BA vouchers?

Are you starting out collecting Avios? If so, I can’t comment on the business ones but I’d suggest get a BAPP first as the companion ticket is very valuable particularly long haul business/first class. just make sure you will hit the minimum spend of £15k pa to get it.
I also have the free Barclaycard as backup to use for places that don’t take AMEX so I can still get points.
Try and time it when they are doing a very good sign up bonus, it can add tens of thousands of points.
And add the supplementary cards later to get an additional sign up bonus.
And also ensure you do as much shopping as possible through the BA Shopping portal - it really adds the points ie a few days hotel booking through the portal’s Booking.com can add 10k Avios. Even a Which subscription got me 4500 points recently.
Def worth doing when you can secure 2 long haul business class tickets for only £1k in taxes.
Follow Headsforpoints website and sign up for their weekly Sat newsletter, it’s very helpful for deals. They also have a forum for queries.
If you’re already collecting points, you’ll be familiar with all the above, and I’m not aware of any cards that will enable you to collect more. The Patinum card has travel/car hire insurance, lounge access etc and I know some folk find this offsets the £650 annual fee but as I fly business, and don’t fly more than twice a year, I haven’t found these perks worthwhile.

I use the BAPP, the Avios Barclaycard (paid for version), the HSBC World Elite Mastercard, the Curve card and the Platinum Amex.

The Mastercard actually gives the most expected Avios per £1 spent (it’s 1.5 as standard but they regularly offer a 25% conversion bonus into Avios) but I make sure I spend enough on the others to get the free companion/upgrade vouchers each year too.

The Platinum Amex is expensive but comes with an attractive welcome bonus and is best to use if you are going to spend £10K on it in a month.
