Apartments in either Mallorca or Algarve

Can anyone recommend preferably apartments but we could do a hotel in either Mallorca or Algarve. We have a 2 and 3 year old so somewhere good for toddlers and somewhere not to far from the airport as 2 year old is awfully travel sick in cars.

@Forgottenmyphone thanks, is there much going on around outside the resort or is it fairly secluded and quiet?

In Majorca, look at Alcudia. It's about 50 minutes from the airport but it's almost all motorway, no twisties. At the very north end of the beach there is a wonderful paddling area that your toddlers will never want to leave.

Otherwise Santa Ponsa is another lively family oriented resort about 30 minutes from the airport with a big sandy beach and a smaller quieter one that has some shade from trees.

Can Pastilla is only 10 minutes from the airport, even less on a good day, but it doesn't have quite the same choice of places to stay or eat, I think.

Val do Lobo resort in the Algarve is great for kids and only 20 minutes from Faro Airport. Several restaurants, mini golf, kids club, sports facilities and a kiddie disco every evening. It's expensive though.
