Alvor, Algarve

Can anyone recommend a nice self catering near beach and town Alvor, maybe Pestana Alvor Villas if you’ve stayed there?

We have stayed in the villas and the hotel, but not recently. Fantastic location on the beach, perfect for walking into Alvor for the evening.
The 2 bed villa we had was clean and quiet, a little basic but that was fine. IIRC comfortable beds. We didn’t spend much time in the villa but it was more than adequate.
Great option then to have a very good buffet breakfast outside, don’t know if that is still the case. We loved our holidays there when our sons were young, and might even return again sometime.
Loved the fish restaurants at night.

We have stayed in a two apartment in Vila De Praia In Alvor over 10 years ago. It was a lovely apartment, great complex and ideal location lots of other kids to play with etc.
