Where to stay in Athens?

Hi,
We'd like to spend a few days in Athens and wondered if anyone has any good accommodation recommendations? Ideally we want 2 or 3 bedrooms (2 kids who will share but one adult snores, so we'd like a 3rd bedroom) and ideally an apartment or something rather than a hotel. I don't particularly want a random airBnB with no recommendations - and don't necessarily mind a hotel, so would be grateful for any advice!

At the top one the Apartment Near the Beach.

Was 3 bedrooms a bit old fashioned, but great. 25/30 mins on a tram to the centre of Athens, we also had a beach day.

Do you want recommendations for where in Athens too? As in centre or by the beach..

Oh these are great - that hotel looks amazing!
yes please to location recommendations. We’d like to be close ish to the Acropolis museum, but no idea if that’s a good place to stay or not.
