Barcelona Hotel for family of 4 adults - not too pricey

Heading to Barcelona for a couple of nights in June as part of a bigger holiday, with our two young adult kids. Have already reserved a couple on booking.com with free cancellation but not too sure of either - Hotel El Call in Gothic Quarter and Limonaia in Exiample. Both have quadruple rooms. Trying to keep within £500 for the two nights so know we won't get anywhere amazing, so long as clean, ensuite and decent Aircon will be fine as we don't plan to spend much time in the room. Also need to be able to park nearby. Can I do better?

Not sure if it’s always cheap or we just struck lucky but we stayed at one called Europark and it was great.

I was going to recommend the Ilunion Barcelona - it's very comfortable, great location with excellent staff and a small pool (I also really like their policy of actively supporting people with disabilities into employment).

It doesn't have quad rooms though, so I think might be out of budget for June. Just mentioning still as a general recommendation.

Of the two you mention, I'd personally go for the Limonaia as I wouldn't want to stay right in the middle of the Gothic Quarter.
