Are last minute holidays still a thing?

Would love to go away for a week at the end of July, 2 adults, 2 primary age dc, somewhere in Europe. All Inclusive would be great but looking at prices at the moment self catering is probably more the budget we were looking at. Just wondering if there are bargains to be had if we hold out and book a couple of weeks before?

I am currently wondering about booking something for next week, and was hoping for bargains but there aren't many.

I don't think so, no. Companies offer discounts for early booking and can't make last minute holidays cheaper than that.

Flights generally go up last minute.

I thought that might be the case, was dreaming of a last minute all inclusive bargain but might just have to go for it and book something now

@DidILeaveTheGasOn have you looked on Holiday Pirates? Might be worth checking if not
