Albufeira - bad weather

We are heading to Albufeira on Tuesday and the weather is looking a bit crap😭. Has anyone got any recommendations for indoor activities for a 5 year old? Feeling a bit gutted as it’s our first family holiday and I doubt we will be able to afford one again anytime soon😢

Water painting books were entertaining at this age

We stayed in the Algarve last February and had two half-days of rain. We had a car (inexpensive in February) and visited the Loulé Rock Salt Mine (which is about 40mins away from Albufeira) and a Cork factory (there are a few of them around) both of which were much more interesting than I expected. However, I am not sure either of these will be that interesting for a five year old.

I live in that part of the Algarve and I don't think it's going to be as bad as it looks on the weather apps. It was showing as rainy yesterday and in the end we only had a bit of a light shower for 30 mins or so.

Oh that gives me some hope - thank you!
