Looking for a good restaurant with rooms within an hour from Calais

We will be driving to Calais the evening before our crossing. We would love to find a hotel with a really lovely restaurant so that we can have a great French meal before leaving. Within an hour or so of Calais would be great.

I stayed in saint Quentin, there’s a lovely restaurant called Le Petite Chef. I just booked b&b in a local hotel, it was fine though not posh and only €70 including breakfast for 2. It was around 2 hours to Calais but i would definitely eat there again, delicious

Chateau Tilques near Saint Omer or La Sapinière also near Saint Omer. Under an hour from Calais.

Ideally we would want something an hour away but thanks for the recommendation @minnienono. @Cyclistmumgrandmawe we’re looking for somewhere quite intimate with not too many rooms. These seem like large hotels. Or are they quite small? We don’t need fancy rooms - just good food!

Another vote for la Sapinière. The website says it has 22 rooms.

Or you could book a B&B in Calais and walk to a good restaurant eg Aquaraile

The SAPINIERE looks wonderful but sadly they don’t have any availability for our date in August

They got back to me and said they were shut for the first two weeks of August. Would love to hear of any other wonderful suggestions
