We are looking to hire a car in the UK and was curious of people's experience with "what they hired vs received"?
Looking at the "large suv - Volvo xc60 or similar" category.
As a side note, we often rent when overseas and usually the car type or similar is in line with the car we receive and in good condition. In the UK (we have hired once) our experience of a "standard suv - Ford Kuga or similar" was a dirty Skoda Karoq which smelt so bad (think wet dog) . Unfortunately there were no other cars available at the time so had no choice but to take it.
