Holiday with teens

Hi… just wondering if anyone could help. I am a lone parent with 2 teens (16 and 18) and am looking for a week long holiday in Europe. We have been on a cruise/ stayed at all inclusives (not really my cup of tea but mainly for ease and keeping control of costs and they have worked well)
This year I am thinking of self catering. A 2 / 3 bedroom apartment with a shared pool. Must be close / walkable to bars/ restaurants and shops and to the sea. Would like to do a boat trip or 2.
I really am open on destination (but prefer to avoid Canary Islands) … I was thinking maybe croatia or Spain but open. I don’t have loads of money but the apartment can be basic as long as the location is good.
if you have any recommendations then I’d be eternally grateful. Thanks!

What kind of budget do you have? Paphos, Cyprus would tick all your boxes

I think for a lower budget, the likely options to suit your whole list are southern Spain and maybe Albania (Ksamil specifically). Are you going to hire a car? Otherwise you’ll have to specify if it needs to be easily accessible from the airport.
Depending on what your budget can stretch to, I’d personally do a Greek island, though finding a flat with a communal pool will be the trickiest/priciest bit of your planning.

Ok will take a look at paphos and southern Spain.the last 2 years I have spent about 5.5k on all inclusives . Taking that out of the equation (though of course I’ll need spending money) I’d like to get flights and accommodation for around 3k - maybe 3.5.

Have a look at Cala Dor in Mallorca. Specifically the Cala Ferrera side. I've only stayed in hotels but there are some nice self catering apartments and would probably be within your budget. Some of the hotels and apartments are on the rocks so very close to the sea and have platforms and swim ladders in the deep water so you can access the sea there or you can go from the beach. They also have paddleboarding, kayaks, pedalos etc. Some boat trips and boat hire. Lots of beaches to explore and easy to travel on the buses or rent a car if you want to explore further. Lots of great restaurants and bars but not much nightlife.
