Corfu end of April

Hi there, we are looking at booking a holiday to Corfu for the end of April but I am concerned in case it isn’t warm enough for sunbathing etc. Does anyone have any experience? Thank you!

Have been twice mid April and beautiful weather ! Not last year but the two years prior in Ikos Dassia .

It can be quite rainy as it’s northern Greece. I wouldn’t book it unless you’re happy to have colder days. Even Crete and Rhodes can be hit and miss in April.

I went May and it was beautiful.

I used to spend every winter on Corfu and wouldn't book April for a sun holiday.

April is a wonderful month for exploring, hiking and cycling as the spring flowers are out and everything is green before the summer heat hits. Less so if you want to lie by the pool, sheltered spots would be warm, but pools and the sea will still be freezing.

Evenings still necessitate a coat and you are likely to get the odd rainy day.

Thank you all. We are now thinking about Crete instead which we’ve heard can be a little warmer.

Yes, Crete is more likely, Cyprus too.
If you want to be confident of swimming, make sure you have a heated pool.

Crete still not great for sunbathing and sea quite chilly. Great weather for hiking though!
