All inclusive with baby (not Ikos)

Hi all,

Apologies if similar questions have been posted several times before but unfortunately I don’t have time at the moment to scroll through previous threads so hoping someone can help a tired mama out!

My husband and I have always loved all inclusive hotels on the fancier end, but now with a new baby our budget is a bit tighter which rules out any Ikos resort.

Looking for recommendations on resorts in July that are baby friendly but not necessarily overrun by kids (ie no water park type vibes - baby will only be 8 months old!)

Other criteria is that it not be too far from the airport and that it be on/close to a beach 🙏🏻 happy to pay for luxury just unfortunately not Ikos standard in July!

if anyone knows of such a place, would love some recommendations.

Thanks all

Hello Op

another mama here who will have an 8 month old in July and we have just booked the Melia in cala galdana in menorca, booked a private coach transfer through shuttlespain so I don’t have to take the car seat and the hotel is lovely on the beach with good access. Lots of places nearby for lunch out the sun. Plus if we end up in the room a bit which I imagine we will it has a lovely sea view.
I like Melia hotels as they give an adult vibe with being baby/kid friendly. We have gone half board tho not sure if they do AI but maybe worth checking out other hotels in that area on Jet2

keen to hear any other recommendations you get tho too!! Good luck! X

Maybe Fuerteventura?

Barceló beach resort Caleta de Fuste. 15 mins from airport. There’s the Castile or Mar right next door and you can use facilities in both.

Jet2 Holidays, Tui etc as well as direct book obviously.

Martingale Sagres has been recommended to me many times although I’ve never actually stayed there. Looks great though!

We stayed at Gennadi grand resort in Rhodes when our eldest was 9 months. We got a room with a private pool and the food was incredible. The service was amazing. They offer to make purées for baby too. It was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. A friend visited the Princess andriana in Rhodes the same year and also said that was nice too.

If you'd consider self catering (but with a very nice on site restaurant, so you could just do your own breakfast and eat out the rest of the time), check out Mousses Lefkada. Very nice kids club/crèche. Small. We prefer it to Ikos. Although Ikos with a baby does make for a super easy holiday. I'm surprised they charge you any extra for a baby to be honest, assuming they won't have their own seat on the plane.
