You might want to give us a bit more to go on...

Hi 👋 I live in Zurich. What do you want to do and when are you going? If it’s a weekend in Zurich then get a Zurich city card.
if you post more information I’m happy to give some tip.
Been here 14 years. My DC grew up here

As cities go I really like Zurich. But I’d head to the mountains. But you might hate hiking and trail running…. What do you plan to do on holiday?

LIZS · 29/03/2025 15:25

For how long, to do what activities or interests, when?

Catch the glacier train into the alps. UNESCO world heritage line and it’s stunning

It’s expensive but very beautiful. My friend lives there and I’ve been a few times. The ski resort near her had free activities every day in the summer. We paid for the lift pass and did canoeing, Go-Ape, and other things for free that would usually cost $$$. Not sure if all ski resorts offer that but I imagine some do as ot means people visit out of ski season. There are beautiful walks and great lidos and lakes to swim in, and barbecue areas with wood to chop and axes provided. We hardly ate out because of cost is prohibitive. Oh it has state-run spas apparently which are gorgeous but not expensive.
