Where to take baby in September / October?

I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant and we’re hoping to make the most of my maternity leave by getting away. Our last holiday was to Barcelona which we loved. We are not the type to go to a villa and lie around a pool so would like suggestions similar to Barcelona/Rome/Madrid etc.

Completely appreciate what we can do will be limited in some ways but happy to go slow and play it by ear. We were thinking maybe Florence but wondered if anyone else had other suggestions. Obviously not booking anything now and will see how my recovery goes but want to spend some time researching

We had a week in Antibes / Juan Les Pins end September when dd was a baby. Short flight to Nice and easy to get round by public transport. Spent a couple of days on the beach and went sight-seeing. Used to put her in her sleepsuit after a bath and then wheel her out for a drink / dinner if she was in the mood, or grab a pizza and sit on the terrace at our apartment.

If you liked Barcelona, Valencia or Malaga might suit.

Thank you @MissAmbrosia
We will consider that area of France although there is a holiday home in the family so were thinking of visiting France in the summer.
I’ve been to both Malaga and Valencia before but not for a decade so will definitely have to revisit

Seville? very family friendly and you'd still get lovely weather.

Definitely somewhere I’ll have a look into, thank you! Never been to Seville @xmasdealhunter

Ohrid,North Macedonia is incredibly family-friendly. We found cafes and bars with mini playgrounds inside or outside. These spots gave everyone a great break from sightseeing. H also had an amazing time driving the radio-controlled cars available on the waterfront boulevards.

Girona or Skiathos.
