Hello,
can anyone recommend where is good to visit for temperatures 25 degrees+ January to March?
Thanks in advance xx

Various islands in the Canaries have those sort of temps January to March...it's where we always head to...other than that, from the UK, you are looking at longer haul flights.

Do you recommend anywhere in particular in the Canaries?

I am happy to consider long haul options too!

Puerto Mogan in Gran Canaria is lovely, very pretty, great beach, lively, lots of restaurants, and easy to catch the boats to various other places on the island.

Depends what you like though...some would find it a bit too touristy, I love it.

We wanted some winter sun after Christmas this year. I’m not a good flier, and we only wanted a short break so that left Canaries/Morocco as the obvious options. We went to Fuertaventura and had a great time- lovely temps. I think you can often get mid 20s temps that time of year. It was actually low 20s while we were there, but that sort of temperature suits me perfectly.

But there’s lots of choice further afield: Mexico, Caribbean, Thailand… Much longer flights though, plus different timezones. If I were going somewhere like that it would need to be at least 10 days or ideally two weeks.

(Canaries is same time zone as UK and just under four hour flight)

Cape Town - long haul but only 2 hours time difference so no jet lag! We were there in January and temperature was between 27° and 35°. Beautiful scenery and loads to do.

Been to both Dubai and Mexico in March and daily temperatures were definitely plus 25

Cape Verde. Hear varying reports though.

Dominican Republic is lovely in February

Ooo Mexico could be a good option.

I am drawn to the Caribbean (we just got married there). The temperatures around this time of year have done me the world of good and I’m thinking of breaking up next winter with sunnier climes to help my seasonal low mood!!

I’ve also considered Morocco or even Egypt.
