New Years Eve at Disneyland Paris

Hi All,

Has anyone spent New Years Eve at Disneyland Paris, I've got a couple of questions that I'd love to hear people's views on.

  1. Are the parks on NYE extremely overwhelmed and therefore not an enjoyable experience or do they manage it well?
  2. Has anyone spent NYE at Disneyland Paris and stayed off site rather than in a Disney hotel?
  3. What time did the trains run till on NYE to get you back from the park?

If not DLRP would anyone recommend anything else fun to do as a NYE break?

Thanks

We’ve done it for the last 3 or 4 years and last year will definitely be our last! It’s massively went downhill, the people were so rude and we saw parents being abusive to staff on multiple occasions. The park is really busy - New Year’s Day is the busiest day of the year for DLP, so the crowds didn’t help plus rides broke down constantly Still magical for kids, but we spent a lot of extra money on fast passes. We also stay onsite so we get the extra hour in the park - you get more done in that hour than the rest of the day.
We’re going to give it a break until the construction work stops and the new lands are open. I’d probably go for Halloween next time, it’s supposed to be lovely.

Still trying to think of an alternative for a kid friendly NYE. One year we did Kew at Christmas and dinner out, that actually was really nice.
