Dublin with teens

Have 2 full days with teens in Dublin in the Easter holidays. Never been before. They like shopping (a lot), food (obviously!) and organized sightseeing (like a boat trip, walking tour or open top bus)
What are our must-dos as we want to make the most of our short time? Thanks.

for shopping, don’t spend much time on Grafton St - head instead to surrounding streets like St William, Fade St, George’s St and temple Bar. Teens also flock to Dundrum shopping centre - easy to get to on the Luas (tram).
quirky museum - Natural History Museum, fascinating for all ages. Beside National Gallery and near National museums, Trinity College and RHA if they’re into art. Nice lunch spot in RHA too. What ages are they? 13/14 or 17/18? I’ll ask my own kids what they advise. A dip in the sea at the Forty Foot then ice cream in Dun Laoghaire would be good - very easy on DaRt - suburban rail. Are you staying city centre?

The Viking tour would be good - it’s bus and boat. Depending on the driver/ tour guide - the passengers look like they’re having fun.

Look up the Viking Splash Tour! Guinness Store house also good. Lots of good free entry art galleries.Wander through Temple Bar. Lots of good buskers on Grafton Street. Stephens green Park is nice also.

You could post this in the Craicnet part of Mum’s net - where the Irish hang out.

Thanks all, lots of great suggestions. The Viking Splash and Dundrum will be hits, I know. The kids are 15 and 13. We're staying in The Liberties area.

You could start your day with breakfast in Fumbally then stroll down to the area around Merrion Sq for museums then after lunch do shopping. You could book Reggie’s in Rathmines for dinner and then a movie and mock tails in the Stella. Day two, a visit to Marsh’s library and then check if the monthly vintage market coincides with your visit. Or Viking splash then Dundrum.
hope you have a lovely time
