We are going to Bude for a couple of days when we come back to the UK and I wondered about going for a day out but I can't decide where to go. I have 2 children (5 and 3).

the Eden Project - it's brill. Took dd when she was 3 and she loved it - so did we......going back this summer

Your dcs won't thank you for taking them to the Eden Project, but they will lurve Crealy. It is a full-on children's paradise. A reaally, really good day out for them.

That's no good , that's one vote for each, I need more votes so I can be influenced into my decision

I would go to Eden project (been there with two toddlers, it was fine). More interesting for the adults, and the children won't realise what the choice was so they can't really complain.

We live near Crealy and go now and then, small children usually love it but I could live without it.

Hi, as my names says, this is my first post!! So hello to you all

I would vote for Crealy. I took my DD (4) there recently and she absolutely loved it. So much so that part way through the day she asked when she could visit again!

If your children like animals, it's great. They can feed goats, groom ponies, feed the piglets.. fab!

Crealy - have been there twice and its fab!! Your dcs will love it........even really tiny tots will have fun! Eden more for older one's imo......

Thank you (esp myfirstpost - you need to change your name now ). I think maybe Crealy will be the winner but I am still feeling a bit fickle and I am easily led

Dsd and dd loved Crealy. Dd still talks about the singing moles . We've had a couple of lovely days out there. We're planning on doing the Eden Project when we can escape and be child free.

Going to Devon in June. Is there any offers available for either of these 2 attractions?

grendel · 16/05/2008 23:05

Haven't been to Crealy but have been to Eden with DD (then 7). To be honest, Eden was a bit of a trial as DH and I were really interested and wanted to stop and look at stuff but DD was pretty bored after the first half hour (even with the children's trail thingy) and just wanted to rush around as quickly as possible. So DH and I ended up grumpy as couldn't look at what we wanted, and DD ended up grumpy 'cos she was bored.

Would like to go back for a proper visit - without DD!
