October half term - Cyprus or Turkey? 5* family of 4?

We are looking to go away in October half term as a family of 4 (2 kids 5 and 1). It’s for a special birthday so we don’t mind splashing out but would really like:

sun
no more than 4/5 hour flight
a bit of luxury
entertainment in the evening
kids activities
beach
pools
accommodation where we don’t all have to sleep in the same room (so suites or joined rooms)

we are looking at options in Cyprus and some are booked up already (Olympic lagoon resorts pathos) but are open to turkey or maybe even the canaries. October half term is the end of October so really want to be as “safe” as we can with there being some half decent weather.

has anyone got anywhere they would recommend?

We have done Turkey in October half term the last two years and had a lovely time.
We loved Liberty Lykia last year.
For me Cyprus and the Lara/Belek areas of Turkey look too built up, too full of high rises.

Liberty Lykia looks lovely! It seems like every room type is unavailable, wondering if we have left it too late for some of the nice places 😬

We spent last October half term at Louis st Elias in protaras Cyprus. Lovely warm weather and great facilities. Pools chilly but sea lovely and warm.
