We (Dh, DD, DD’s partner and 3 year old DGS) are off for a week’s holiday at a Euro camp near Perpignan in June. The resort has a couple of water parks suitable for DGS, as well as several playgrounds, so we feel well set up when we’re on site, but we’d like to get out and explore a bit. We’re all pretty active; quite aside from the fact we’ll have a very energetic 3 year old with us none of us like the sit around a pool and read a book sort of holiday. An added complication is DGS is possibly ND and can get very overwhelmed in busy and noisy environments.
We’ll be flying to Béziers, and then hiring a car. DD isn’t 25 so we can’t put her as an additional driver and neither DH or DD’s partner can drive due to medical reasons, so it’s only me driving. I’m a confident driver, plus I’ve driven a reasonable amount in Europe however I’d rather not drive for much more than an hour and a half to get to places unless it’s for something really special.
I know there is so much to do in that area as I’ve been before, but I’m hoping that you guys will be able to give me some recommendations for really good child friendly places.
Thanks in advance!
