Hi I'm searching for somewhere we can stay - hotel/ tent/ whatever for 1 or 2 nights that doesn't cost a lot for 2 adults and 3 children. Thanks.

There are loads of camp sites all over the peak district. Google them. I think there's one in Belper.

Thank you - travel lodge sounds fine - i will ring to see if they'll squeeze us in as we have 2 3yrolds and a 6 yr old.
I should have said I will stay in a tent, but um have no tent and i can't seem to find anywhere that does them for you like you can go to keycamp in france and so on.

thanks again

Sorry doesn't seem that cheap - not sure exactly how much family rooms are.Food great.

RainingCatsandDogs · 13/05/2008 22:07

Seems to be £55 per night for family room with 6 beds - own key not shared.

Thank you - that looks perfect - I had totally forgotten about youth hostels.

There was a thread on this last year (places near Alton Towers). My recommendation of Heathy Roods Farm for b&b (or camping) still stands - unfortunately the owner doesn't have a website - as far as I can tell
