France with 3 DC

Hello
we are planning a holiday in France in July/August this year for 10 nights. We will be driving so wondering where is nice to stay within 2 hours of Calais? DC are 17/11/9 so somewhere with some interesting things for the DC to do would be a bonus. We’re wanting self catering and budget upto £3.5k. Can anyone suggest anywhere please?

There are some 3 bedroom lodges at La Bien Assise. There’s a pool and a few other activities onsite such as cycling, mini golf, tennis… And it’s not very far from the coast.

Center Parcs at De Haan on the Belgian cost. Loads of activities nearby and huge sandy beaches. www.belgiancoast.co.uk
There's a tram that runs the length of the coast making it easy to visit places - and you could do a day trip to Bruges or Ypres for the WWI battlefields and museum.
