Croatia vs Slovenia vs Montenegro

We are looking for our next family holiday, we have been to beach holidays to Hvar, korcula, jelsa, opatia for 6 years running and love Croatia! But feel we should explore other places. Swimming in clear water, relaxing, cobbled streets and good food is our thing! Does anyone have any recommendations, I’m worried about trying someone else but it not meeting my Croatian expectations! Many thanks

Kefalonia would tick these boxes, plus Crete near Chania. Some places in Corfu too.

Yes I have been to these places. Sandy beaches from my experience...

Kefalonia has both types of beach. Crete mainly sandy, Corfu mainly pebbles but a few sandy.

Paxos is lovely if you don’t mind flying to Corfu and then a boat.

Or look at the Sporades islands on the eastern side of Greece.

Corfu has lots of pebble beaches and is gorgeous.

We're going to montenegro this year. It looks fabulous!
