Family holiday in N.France

Looking for:

Something like a holiday park maybe? Open to suggestions. No, we don't have a tent, but we are open to camping in a pre-erected set up. Since having kids we usually do AirBnB in the UK, or a hotel resort. (Pre-kids we were intrepid travellers, backpackers that booked nothing but the flight in advance).

Less than an hour's drive from a ferry port like Calais or Caen (e.g.).

Family friendly - kids play park, toddler friendly pool.

For 5 nights at the end of May; 2 adults, 4yo and 2yo.

Thanks for the suggestions!

We had a great time at L'atlantique, yelloh camping. A bit more driving involved but very straightforward from Roscoff if you get overnight ferry.

Les Ormes near St Malo is our favourite

A while ago when kids were little we did here a couple of years in a row and loved it:

Look at Yelloh Domaine de drancourt. Around an hour from Calais, indoor and outdoor pool, near somme bay.

I would second Les Ormes. It has great facilities for little ones.
St Malo is very close and as well as being a pretty town, it has a good aquarium. Also not too far away (on the road to Mont St Michel) is Alligator Bay which is great for children. Dinard has a great beach

Thirding Des Ormes, 35 mins from St Malo and so much to do for all age groups. Activity costs are extremely reasonable compared to UK (I’m looking at you Center Parcs) and the indoor swimming complex is amazing.

I’d look at ones with plenty of indoor swimming. Northern France in May might be cold!

Another vote for Les Ormes. Have a look at Eurocamp - there are quite a few near ferry ports.
