I'm in Arizona & had emergency dental work. Allianz told me that the first £1000 is automatically covered but after that I would have to send in reports from the dentist, receipts etc. so I went ahead & started having the treatment. the first lot was $1350 & I have another appointment for tuesday. I just called them (as the first operator told me to) and now they're saying that no, there is no option for providing reports & receipts to enable a claim of over £1000. it's weird being told two completely different things.
does anyone have experience of this? (it's probably gonna end up being around $3-4000 of emergency work. the cost of dental here is crazy!! I could have jumped on a plane back to the UK for £600 & gone to my own NHS dentist. yikes!!)
