Child travel bed/sleeping pad

Any recommendations for an inflatable child bed/sleeping pad? For context we're doing a first long haul trip to Malaysia, present to me as fertility treatment for a no. 2 has not worked out. We booked with trailfinders and honestly it was a bit frustrating as I think I got a new menber of staff who did t really know what he was doing. Was really clear that I wanted and was happy to pay extra for a room that would have our bed in one space and then some sort of separate space for DS to sleep in. DS (4.5) is a great sleeper but he'd noisy and I just hear every rustle/sigh when he sleeps in with us, also thing he'd get hyper. Trailfinderx saying after we've booked that one hotel is quoting 90e for rollaway bed. Any suggestions for a blowup bed that would be comfy for DS and pack up small?

Any decent camping shop will be able to sell you a child’s blow up mattress. We have one for when GD stays that has a soft surface on one side (I’m in Aus so telling you to go to KMart isn’t much good to you 😁).

Stokee JetKids CloudSleeper is supposed to be good and packs down small. You can probably get an inflatable sleeping pad for £30-40 that's smaller. It depends on budget to be honest

You might have to pay for the bed because it'll also be to do with insurance and breakfast (if included) etc.

Not the point of your thread but where in Malaysia are you going? I can recommend somewhere in KL that remove all this faff.

Thanks both! We have triple occupancy so he's covered for breakfast/insurance etc. I really struggle to sleep with my son in the room as he makes a lot of noise. The rooms I've closed have a separate living area where we can put him but some don't have pull out couches (which we've always had before). I think a camping sleeping pad would work, thank you!

We're going to Georgetown, Langkawi and Penang. I'm very excited! We used to travel long haul a lot before we had our son. He's 4.5 now so it's a good time to dip our toe back in the water. I'm really into my food and have heard great things about the food in Malaysia!
