We love it but we are 70 plus! Admittedly we only go out of school holidays. I think Costa Teguise may be better for teens and although I've only visited for the odd day or two it looks nice with a good beach.

We've been 3 times with our 3 (now) teens. The last time they did complain a bit that there wasn't much to do in the town itself. They said it was just 'walking up and down the boulevard' which is actually lovely but the shops are a bit same-y.

There's 3-4 decent beaches to choose from in the resort. Some activities break it up a bit - there's an OK waterpark in the middle of the resort, the Cesar Manrique house and the volcano tour were good. Surf lessons at Famara are great if the weather isn't too rough.

We go a lot. I wouldn’t take a teenager. It’s great because it’s so quiet

We’ve been a couple of times…DC are 16 and 19….they tend to hang around Villa/pool during day sleeping late, but are happy to wander either down by Marina or into town together for food/drink, beach, shops etc and then meet me and DH later usually for dinner. We usually hire car too, so they will sometimes come out and about with us too. I like Playa Blanca as it is quiet and safe for them to do their own thing and I can relax. Presume DC are happy with this too as they keep wanting to holiday with us and coming again this summer!

Hmm, no I don't think it's great for teens. PB and PDC are both a bit Gt Yarmouth.

I'd definitely go for southern Tenerife with teens over Lanzarote.

Tenerife at that age, Siam Park!

Mine enjoyed it.
Hire bikes and ride to the off road tracks to the beaches Papagayo
Walk up the volcano at the east of the town
Volcano tour, lunch cooked over hot lava
Trips the the big underground volcano caves, all the Cesar Manrique places (but they enjoy that dirt if thing)
Undersea safari on a little submarine thing in the next resort up
Pizza in the pizzeria on top of the sports bar in the middle section of the prom.

Depends what you like.

That’s a huge list of things done in one holiday! Sounds great
