Long sandy beach with promenade near to a busyish resort?

Family of 4 including two teens. Looking at Spain, canaries or Greek islands. Would like a fairly lively resort with a long sandy beach ideally with a promenade for walks. Would probably do bed and breakfast and eat out locally. Like large lively hotels with nice pool areas. Thanks for any recommendations!

Yes, or Alcudia, or Palma Nova (three sandy beaches, two of them quite long), or even the dreaded Magaluf, the south side of which is a very nice place these days. Puerto Pollensa and Puerto Soller are more picturesque but a bit less lively in the day.
