Resorts in Greece

Can any one recommend a resort in Greece that is resonably quiet and family friendly? We want somewhere that has a good selection of restaurants and a sandy beach, but we don't want to be stuck in nightclub hell!

Skiathos - fabulous place!!! Or you could get the hydrofoil over to Skopelos if you wanted it even quieter.

Sani Resort in Halkidiki.

We are going back in July for fifth or sixth time.

UK holiday firms like Thompson do it.

Thanks, I'll take a look at those.

Leslaki · 17/05/2008 10:43

Sorry Laughalot but I would rate hersonissos and sidari as nightclub hell!!! repped them both - suffered the hangovers!

Sorry mummydoc - just saw this.

Sani resort itself has bungalows and a hotel and 2 suites complexes. We have stayed in the bungalows but I thought they were a bit small.

We have stayed in the the hotel mostly. Are staying in the hotel again this year.

I would love to stay in the suites complex - Porto Sani Village or the Asterias Suites but can't justify the price.

The pool area at the hotel is lovely and there is a separate children's pool. Two beaches. Lots of restaurants in the marina.

We like it.
