Investigating a 10th anniversary trip to either Mexico or Thailand next February - 2 adults and 2 daughters aged 6 and 9.
Looking for some advice for Mexico please.
Originally, the plan was to split the time between Playa del Carmen and Isla Mujeres, with a possible 3 nights in Oaxaca on the way home.
Now though, I'm beginning to think we should stay somewhere with a proper kids club for the second week to avoid boredom.
The first week we're planning to stay at Mahekal in Playa del Carmen - mix of doing stuff and chilling out, a few day trips etc.
Wondering if anyone could recommend a hotel for the second week that has a good kids club with a program of activities (rather than just a room with some "stuff" in it)?
Anywhere around the Cancun/Riviera Maya area in general.
We won't be doing all inclusive at Mahekal (so we can try the restaurants in Playa) but I imagine we'll have to book somewhere all inclusive to get the kids club we're looking for the second week.
Ideally looking to spend 2-2.5K max for the week. Biggest priorities are the kids club and somewhere with reasonably good food if possible.
