I don’t think you’ll find many ranches in Vancouver - but a trip over to Vancouver Island to stay in a Pacific Ocean front cabin might just fit the bill.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry I should have been clearer. I meant a 2 centre holiday in Canada, a few days in Vancouver and then drive 4/5 hours to a ranch. ...

I’ve never heard of ranch holidays in Canada - you probably know more about it than the rest of us! However Vancouver has plenty to see and you could also drive up to Whistler or over to Vancouver Island for amazing wildlife and natural beauty.

Just googled and tons of ranches came up - sounds like an amazing holiday! Hopefully someone who’s done it will come along.

Thank you, yes so much choice so I'd love a personal recommendation!

Done this as a holiday. Was really good. Too long ago for a recommendation but Canada is great. Go to a hot spring too.

Echo Valley ranch is superb. North of Vancouver!

Look around Wells Gray Provincial Park. Stayed a couple of nights on a lovely ranch several years ago. Think it was called Wells Gray Guest Ranch. Horse riding guided walks not really a cattle ranch though. Can do river rafting and other activities in the park as well I think.

Thank you for your recommendation. I'm getting so excited now to book it 😊

Hi. We did a trail ride with these guys in Banff, it was stunning - and they seem to offer holidays but we just did a one hour trip.

I’ve done it too. Amazing country side! We stayed years ago near 100-mile house around the Williams lake area. I’d like to go back.

I live in Vancouver and today learned we have ranches nearby! I always assumed you'd have to go to Alberta or Montana.

I would book the ranch and Vancouver accommodations ASAP. Vancouver has a lack of hotels and Airbnbs and they fill up far in advance with people going on cruises. You do not want to waste your holiday getting into the city from a far flung suburb.
