Help me pick destination ( two adults and 4 year old)

I am looking for somewhere in Europe for 4-5 days with nice beaches and city close by for good attractions we can take our 4 year old DD to. It will be her birthday holiday. Any suggestions please? budget is around £2500

Whyt time of year are you thinking about?

I personally find 4-5 days for a trip to southern Europe far too short, too much time is lost on travel.

If guaranteed sunshine is not required, I would go to the Netherlands, Zeeland has great beaches, plenty of things to do and in easy reach to Bruges or Amsterdam if you want a day out.

I second the Netherlands. The Efteling is an amazing fairytale theme park for that age group. The centre parks there are next level and so much cheaper than the UK ones.

Thank you for your suggestions. we are planning in the beginning of july and end of june. we are happy to do 6-7 days as well.

If you want to fly, we love Majorca. We stayed in Can Picafort but there is lots to do everywhere on the island. We always had a car.
The beach is beautiful.

We did s/c though, can‘t help with a hotel. Our villa was lovely but too isolated, so can‘t recommend it unfortunately.

Valencia has nice big sandy beaches. Not especially scenic, but there are some fantastic attractions in Valencia for a 4yo.

Lots of lovely seaside towns just outside Dubrovnik.

Corfu, while is doesn't have a 'city' has a beautiful town with lots going on, plus it being a small island, you're never driving more than 1-2 hours to go anywhere
