Thinking of going to Turkey for a week in June. There are so many resorts we are struggling to work out best one to choose. Two adults, want a quiet, low key break with some culture trips within a couple of hours drive. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you 😊

For the culture side of things have a look at Kuşadası. There's plenty you can travel to in terms of roman ruins, old towns etc. The resort centre is a mix of shopping, lively bars & quieter places to eat & watch the world go by. The beach in town isn't much to write home about, but there are loads of beautiful ones a short dolmuş ride away

Dalyan is a small town with some nice cafes, restaurants and a stunning beach. Lots to see and do nearby, and close to the airport.

Kas and Kalkan are absolutely beautiful. Dalyan as mentioned above is also gorgeous. It's a short transfer, mountainous, has lovely restaurants and the ancient city of Kaunos is there

The Side area is great. We really enjoyed our stay at the Arum Barut hotel.

June is not peak season, so many resorts will be great at that time. For Antalya area, staying around Side is good. From there you can visit multiple historic locations. As for the Aegean side we Turks like Kas for a quiet holiday. It is a tiny little place and very pretty. You can rent a car and enjoy the neighbouring resorts also boat trips to Greek islands. Another adult holiday area is Datca, close to Marmaris. I saw few people recommending Kusadasi. It is a touristic place, but great location to stay for visiting Ephesus Ancient City.
