Advice appreciated Lake Garda or Sardinia

planning to head away with DH and the DDs (14 &17) end May. DD finished a levels and wants to lay by pool in hotel.
I like the idea of Lake Garda but also Sardinia. I like the idea of an all inclusive just a fly and flop holiday and am wondering if that is more Sardinia. Advice appreciated.

Looking for Lake Garda apartment or hotel with pool recommendations not too expensive. Last week in August returning on 3rd September - one week.

Considering the west side but believe Riva is also good. Worried if went to Riva it’s too far away from the areas we would like to explore like Bardalino.

Any advice appreciated ! Like the idea of going up the mountain too but being able to walk out at night.
