Problems with the ex

The ex said in a text he didn’t mind me and my partner taking my two girls on holiday but now he’s being funny about it. He is due to pick them up tomorrow and I’ve said I have something I need him to sign. He’s said he will take it back to his girlfriend’s house and have a look. Me and my partner want to book the holiday Saturday. I’m hoping he just signs it. If he doesn’t what can I do xx

If it's outside the UK, you'd have to go to court and get an order..

When is the holiday? You are very u likely not to get permission from court to take the child and in doing so can get it for every year. Do you have their passports?

He either signs the letter or you need a CAO which allows you both to take them out the country for a few weeks a year without the other's consent.

A CAO requires you going to court.
