All-inclusive Turkey hotels - help!

Hello,

Has anyone been to a great Turkey hotel recently? I would LOVE some personal recommendations as I’m struggling with the amount of choice out there! We’re a family of 5 (3 boys - 10/7/7) and we’re looking for a 7-night all-inclusive stay in early Sept. Thinking Turkey as it’s warm and there are so many options. Antalya and Belek both look like great areas. Ideally the hotel would be on the beach and have water slides to keep the kids busy! :)
Budget is £3-£4k, which takes out some of the more premium options. Four or five star!

Give me your recs!! 🫶🏻

hotel liberty Lykia in olu Deniz is lovely. All inclusive with water slides on the beach we go every year.

Olu Deniz is lovely as the previous poster said.

Last summer we went to the Barut Goia in Side and it was really good. They are not directly on the beach but own a section of beach and if you get their bus there it takes 5 mins. Beach bar and food included in the AI. Our room was great.

We went to Maxeria Blue Didyma and loved it. Its not close to anything though so you have to get a taxi to the closest resort for shopping. The hotel itself though is awesome and has its own private beech, loads of slides and water play plus the best evening entertainment I have ever seen. Dining can be a bit chatioc due to the size of the resort but they have great options and cocktails

Side and Olu Denuz are beautiful. Also Calis Beach - the Jiva and Liberty Fabay there both look amazing. I have always found the big Antalya and Belek all inclusive areas to be a bit souless

Another Lykia/Olu Deniz recommendation. We also did Jiva Beach which was nice as well, and will come out cheaper. Just a lot smaller compared to Lykia. Trying the new Liberty Signa this year. I really love the Fethiye bay coast, totally gorgeous.

Both of the TUI SENSATORI ones

What date do you need to be home by? That affects the price a lot as prices are dropping in September due to school being back and weather being less settled

Yes we stayed in the Akra Fethiye which I think is one of the tui senatori ones, it was good although I think we had one of the family rooms despite it just being dh and me!
It was a bit small and I think we’d have struggled if there had been more of us staying there.
There were so many activities put on and it’s a really large site, plenty of things to keep kids busy. Multiple pools and various entertainment options. We didn’t join in any of it so a lot of the facilities were wasted on us. The spa was really beautiful, dh had a couple of hammam massages but I refused on the basis of the prices being a total rip off.

The two bedroom suites are super spacious. My kids love it there!

Thanks so much, I’ll have a look into these!

We’re quite flexible - I’ve focused on early Sept as I was thinking it’d be warmer but I know the prices drop a lot as the weeks go on, so definitely could be tempted! I’m slightly paranoid the pools will be freezing and the boys won’t go in, which would make a huge difference to the holiday, but I’m guessing that’s more an Oct/Nov problem?
That said, we went to a villa in Spain a few years ago in Oct half term which had a pool that was Baltic and they still went in!! But just made it a bit less enjoyable.

Pine Bay Resort, Kusadasi. Stay in the bungalows.
The only place we ever went twice.

Yes we spoke to some other people there and they said they had really spacious rooms but we had booked ours pretty last minute (about 10 days before we went, dh surprised me for my birthday!) and dh had requested a swim up room and I guess they put us in what they had left. To be fair though the second bedroom came in handy one evening as I elbowed him in there when his snoring was disturbing my drunken tv watching 🤣🤣
the swim up was a waste of time for us although if you had young kids who had daytime naps it would come into its own. We went on a few days trips and other than that lounged about the pool and swam in the sea.
We did think it would be a fantastic hotel for families, so much on offer.

TheChosenTwo · 04/03/2025 19:25

@cloud we went in mid October last year, there was one heated kids pool but the rest were unheated (fine for me, I swim outdoors all year round in an unheated lake!). Lots of the locals in the towns we met said we had the best of the weather as I think it can go either way in October.

Muchtoomuchtodo · 04/03/2025 19:30

Arum Barut is great and their family rooms have 2 bedrooms, check if the sofa in the living room is a sofa bed.

It’s right on the beach, has a fabulous pier into the sea which our kids loved. It’s got a few slides too. There are a few shops within walking distance and it’s easy to get a bus or taxi into Side (it’s about a 45 minute walk but hard in the heat) or further afield.

We went at October half term and the weather was gorgeous, the sea was really warm. One outdoor pool was on the chilly side but ok once you were in, and the other was heated and a lovely temperature.

Tui blue tropical in Sarigerme is lovely

CagneyNYPD1 · 04/03/2025 21:55

Another vote for Liberty Lykia near Olu Deniz!

Pigeonqueen · 04/03/2025 22:04

Any of the Sensatori or Tui Blue ones.
