Under 18 Holiday abroad

Has anyone found places that accept unaccompanied teens? My daughter and her friend will be turning 18 at the start of September and would like to go away together in August.

I assumed nowhere would take under 18 but the fact that Kirsty Allsop got so much heat from allowing her child travelling shows it is possible.

Any tips?

A few of DD’s friends went to the south of France when they were 17. Not sure if it was legal though!

Some hostels will accept under 18s.

They will need to wait till September at the earliest. Many hotels do not accept minors under 18 because they cannot be held legally responsible for a contract they enter into. This includes the contract formed when booking a hotel room.
