There's so much out there I thought I'd see whether I could narrow it down with some recommendations.
I'm looking for a summer holiday campsite in France within 6-7 hours drive of Calais. At the moment we're looking around Angers but interested in other destinations.
Kids aged 9&6. Somewhere not too busy as we like to keep ourselves to ourselves.
In an ideal world we would have
Access to a pool
Large (private-ish) pitch
Bonus points for private bathroom on pitch (have seen some with this)
Bike hire
Easy access to a town either by bike or public transport.
The perfect campsite probably doesn't exist but I'll look into any recommendations.
