Jet2 flight help

Advice needed please! I am wanting to book flights to Geneva for December and I am not sure when is the best time to book? Jet2 seem to have a sale on at the moment until next Tuesday. Does anyone know what normally happens with the prices? Also the airport I would prefer to fly from doesn't seem to have Sunday flights at the moment- does anyone know if there is a chance that more flights will be released later? Thank you for any thoughts

Try looking on Skyscanner for your dates. You’ll see all the operators.

Unlikely that Jet2 will release more than they are currently listing.

Jet2 have a permanent sale. The prices change as often as the weather, depending on demand - an acquaintance works for them with a fancy job title, which is basically manipulating fares according to bookings/time left to maximise the total sales amount for each flight.

I'd be surprised if there are any more flights released for this year, Jet2 tend to set schedules far in advance.

But agree with a PP, it could be that you need to fly back with another airline and if you have specific dates in mind, Skyscanner is your friend here, although be aware that Ryanair flights don't always seem to show, so might need checking direct.

Also, for the best price, avoid the weekend if you can as it could be significantly cheaper to go midweek.

Ryanair don't fly to Geneva, so you have to pick from easyJet and Jet2, who both fly to Geneva from a number of regional UK airports. Both have already set their winter schedules so they are unlikely to add more dates, unless they unexpectedly get more planes.

Flight prices go up and down, depending on the number of bookings as someone else said, you can't really predict when the cheapest seats will be available, but if it's a popular route, you are unlikely to grab a bargain. I got a decent price on Jet2 flights recently but I only booked about 2 weeks before the holiday. In my experience Jet2 tend to be far more expensive than easyJet for flights only trips, they focus on their package offerings and priced to maximise sales of those.

Thank you so much that's so helpful. Looks like I am going to have to book go ahead with the flights that are available now.
