Rotterdam Hotels

Hello, Can anybody recommend a nice, not too pricey hotel in Rotterdam, please?
It's for a family of 4 for a stop over en route to Efteling.

Most places I have found either have awful reviews or want way too much for 1 night.

Alternatively, if anybody has any better ideas of where to stay I'd welcome the suggestions. We land around 8pm and I thought we would be too tired to travel straight to Efteling via public transport.

Hotel Breitner is very pleasant. I stayed there for four nights a couple of years ago though I was on my own. I don't know if they have family rooms if that's what you need. It's about 15 mins walk from Rotterdam Centraal station and there's a metro station at Eendrachtsplein just a few minutes away. Most of Rotterdam's main sites are within walking distance, if you did want to see some of the city the following day before going on to Efteling.

We've stayed in the Ibis, which was perfectly nice and cheap. When you say land, do you mean by boat or plane?

We stayed at the Premier Suites Plus just across from Centraal Station. Apartments for 4 with living/kitchen area with big sofabed and separate sleeping area with king bed (not separated with a door though). We found it a good price in comparison to other hotels in the area.
