Hotel/ water park

Hi.
I'm looking for recommendations for a holiday for parents with an 8 year old.
I'm looking for a 4 or 5 hotel on a beach with or near a water park. And some golfing nearby would be great but not totally important.
Any ideas would be great.

I should say in Europe. Preferably Portugal but doesn't have to be.

Look at Hilton la Romana family resort in the Dominican Republic. Beautiful beach and its own waterpark. We have taken our family, (7 - 80) there for several years, great for everyone. We book through British Airways Holidays,
