On the beach, in or walking distance to old town, walking distance to restaurants & maybe some bars

Bear with me - but maybe someone has a magical suggestion that Chat GPT & many hours of searching have not delivered.

This is our family criteria and we are really struggling for inspiration for both the location AND the villa / apartment. Location Europe. Timing early July.

We are ideally looking for self catering or villa that is within a short walk (5 mins) to a beach (stone, pebbles or sand) AND within a 15-20 mins walk to an old town. Bonus points if it’s ‘vibey’ for teens / young adults. It should also have parking, a BBQ, and air con. Pool would be nice. We need 3 bedrooms. And have a pre-Covid budget.

https://www.santacruz-apartments.com/index.php?lng=en in Malaga. Short walk to the beach and around the corner from the fabulous fresh fruit/veg market. No pool though.

Thanks everyone for contributions so far! Lots more research to do. Refuse to pay silly money for Ryanair flights so looking for the sweet spot. Wonder if prices might come down if we book later. They seemed to last year.

To add to the list of recommendations - I’d add Kardamilli and Stoupa in the Pelloponese as being my favourites.

I also recommend Cachet Travel independent agents www.cachet-travel.co.uk/d/home.php

What budget and dates are you looking at Op?

Oooh, you want Lindos on Rhodes. Gorgeous “old town” village, very vibe-y, very safe, two beautiful beaches.

It’s where I was planning on taking my two once they were older except they’ve turned out to be massively allergic to crowds, heat and fun. 😕

Sorry, @MadameSzyszkoBohusz but this made me laugh 😂

How about elsewhere on the Peloponnese? Hire a car from Athens and drive over if Kalamata doesn't work. Some really nice towns and beaches.
Calvi (& others) in Corsica also meet your criteria, but possibly not for ££.

Peloponnese is fab - love love love Limeni and have travelled round fairly extensively over the years. But not for this year for various reasons.
