Highly recommended and very child friendly! I'm not Slovenian, but we "did" Slovenia about 4 years ago with a toddler. Bled is gorgeous; Ljubliana also; there is a lovely arboretum just outside which DD1 loved (not as dull as it sounds, lots of interesting things to see); Predjama (?sp) castle is superb; lots of scope to pop over the border to Croatia; coast is lovely; we went to Piran which was a bit dull but it was a bit out of season and too hot for the little one. A hotel Dvorak was great for a "splurge" (ooh, hear her, thinks she writes for Lonely Planet...)
We hored a car; driving was easy, roads good and not too busy.

Bled is beautiful.

Although it's about 17/18 years since we went!

We're going this summer to Bled, camping. Almost every review I read of the camp site there was fantastic. Drive looks reasonable, mostly through (fast roads) Germany.

Thanks guys, Kammy please can I ask who runs the campsite?
