Kids want pool/pools/slides and organised activities (football, beachball etc not a kids club that just has a games console and some colouring in๐Ÿ˜)

I would love AI but with an apartment rather than a hotel room for the occasional quiet breakfast.

We'd like plenty of sun to make the most of the pool but not painfully hot in August.

Any ideas please?

Budget ยฃ4500 for 2 week, 2 adults 2 kids in August (or May if it's warm enough)

I don't think your budget is big enough for 2 weeks.

BishBashBoomer · 20/02/2025 16:51

Amount of people?

Ah thanks for spotting that. I meant 1 week, budget definitely not enough for 2 weeks ๐Ÿ˜‚
Annoying I can't edit

August seems to be way beyond your budget but May is doable, quite a few options. You haven't provided ages so I just went with 8 & 10 randomly.

This is the cheapest option available.

I think you could get to south east Asia in May - Thailand, Vietnam or even Philippines, if youโ€™re happy to do flights and accom separately.

Dammit I somehow chose 2026! Hang on I'll edit it.

I'd also suggest you look at the Canary Islands.

Hot without being too hot due to being in the Atlantic, May would be fine.

Loads of hotels as you describe. In Tenerife you might find deals that include access to Siam Park, one of the best water parks in the world.

Thanks @CheeseWisely that sounds great!

I've never been there. We usually do Eurocamp in Northern Europe (which is the vibe I'm hoping for activity wise) but have a bit more to spend this year so fancy a change.

Can you recommend a hotel/complex in particular?

Budget would probably get you a week at a Holiday Village, have a look on Tui. We have been to HV Kos, Ibiza and Rhodes, they tick all your boxes.

The Ibiza HV and next door Tui Blue share access to a waterpark. Tui Blue is a nicer hotel imo.

@AutumnLeaving My knowledge of the clubs / activities for older kids isn't good enough for me to recommend specifically, I'm afraid. Lots of them have activity programmes with sports / pool games etc though, not just a ping pong table and a games console as you say.
