Go on skyscanner, then search by month rather than specific date. It will show you the cheapest options across the whole month

The absolute cheapest will be with 2 stops and probably a budget carrier in there somewhere connecting to Europe. Or one stop with more low end airlines (Royal Brunei, Malaysian, China, etc). More bearable would be the major carriers but mix and match for out and back to get the best deals.

Eldest was long distance with her now husband in Sydney for 8yrs ..
changing via bejing was hideous but cheap and when we went for Xmas son ( tight budget ) went via Houston 😱🤣. Obviously only possible if you have huge amounts of time .

It's worthwhile to look at low-cost airlines and compare costs on several booking sites if you're trying to find the cheapest flights from London to Brisbane. Because they frequently offer affordable flights with a single stopover in Asia or the Middle East, major alternatives on this route frequently include Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Emirates, and Cathay Pacific. Though journey durations may be longer, carriers such as China Eastern or Philippine carriers occasionally provide less expensive options as well.

I advise researching other carriers and dates because prices vary based on the time of year, the day of the week, and how far in advance you book. An excellent source for locating the cheapest tickets is https://flying411.com/.it compiles flights and assists you in rapidly identifying the most affordable options.

I've done routes like KLM or Emirates to Singapore and then used Scoot (budget airline) from Singapore to Sydney (realise you are going to Brissie). In August I got some relatively cheap flights from Sydney to Manchester via Tokyo, but we had to have stopover in Tokyo and the Tokyo to Manchester flight was via Helsinki. Vietnam airlines were looking quite affordable to Sydney when I was planning, but flight times not great. London will obviously give you more options than I had from Manchester. Sometimes you just need to think outside the box.
