Spending Money for Disney World

Hi all

Me my partner and daughter who will be 16 are going to Disney next year in July for 2 weeks. We are staying in a disney hotel so we don't need to worry about transport to get to all the parks but we are also going to universal for 2 days also. How much spending money would you say we will need

:)

This gives good tips.

It's been a while since I've been out there but we used to manage on $70 a day (for 2 of us) if even that. Not sure if you have been before but Florida can be incredibly cheap especially if you have your transportation sorted.

The most expensive part is merchandise, especially at Disney, and food inside the parks. If you can find a nearby market to get food, or eat outside the parks it will save you money.

Do you have a package with your Disney hotel so you can get breakfast? Eat good breakfasts to save money too. Are you in the same hotel for Universal? Overall in my experience Disney is much more expensive for souvenirs but both parks you will already have your tickets which is the biggest expense. It's the merchandise that will get you ;) It is oh so appealing!

The malls and surrounding shopping areas like Kissimee aren't expensive. Taxi ride from the airport can be about 100 dollars, maybe more now.

We're going in November - staying at an air BnB and using a car.

4 of us are going but the children are under 5 - we're taking £5k.

There's a group on fb - www.facebook.com/share/g/1C8rKj9y5e/?mibextid=wwXIfr

It's really good.
