We are heading there at the start of the summer holiday and have one DS who will have just turned 13. Ideally I'd like to find somewhere that would appeal to families with kids around his age so he can meet other kids (playing with mum and dad isn't quite as appealing as it once was!)
I know there's lots to do around there that will be great for him, but also staying somewhere where there will be kids on tap, so to speak, would be great too. I've been to Thailand many times but either pre-DS or when he was 5 so this is a different sort of planning to before. There are 100's of options and all kinds of places so a recommendation or two would really help. Budget is 'flexible', we aren't on a shoestring and can stretch it up if it's an ideal spot.
