if we haven't paid for our holiday in full by the payment due date, could we lose it?

we booked our holiday in January with teletext holidays. we paid for our flights and gave a deposit and we got all our bumph about x 2 days later. anyway, i was just sorting out some papers the other day and i noticed that the payment due date had been and gone.i contacted the x 3 other families who have booked to go to the same place at the same time (not a group booking though) and they were all as surprised as us that they hadn't received any reminders. can they cancel our holiday now because we've forgotten?

I'd ring the holiday company rather than asking here.

FWIW my friend got a lovely upgrade on her cruise because people hadn't paid their final amounts when she phoned to pay hers so yes, I would guess you could lose it.
